CNC Milling

First Part Milling Service

CNC milling is the process of machining using rotary cutters to remove material by advancing a cutter into a workpiece. CNC milling tools perform a machining process much like both drilling and cutting. CNC milling is ideal in making angles shapes, slots, holes and curves, flat surfaces and channels. It is efficient in removing surfaces with high accuracy.

Our Milling Process

Milling can be done with a wide range of machine tools. The original class of machine tools for milling was the milling machine. Our CNC milling process is capable of 3-axis (x,y and z), 4-axis and 5-axis (x,y,z, A and B) milling for high speed cutting of engineering-grade materials into product prototypes and precision end-use parts. The specific process is as follows:

01.

CAD model creating

Create the original CAD model according to your design and ideas.

02.

Programing

The original CAD model is transformed into a complete program

03.

Milling machine set up

Set up the milling machine according to the CNC program

04.

Manufacturing

Parts processing production

Our Different Types of Milling

Design and process different types of parts and functions will use different types of milling machines, the following are several common types of milling machines:

Face Milling

Design and process different types of parts and functions, will use different types of milling machine, the following are several common types of milling machine:

Face milling is the most common milling process, that is, the rotation axis of the cutter is a horizontal milling machine, flat milling is perpendicular to the workpiece, along the direction of motion parallel to the surface of the workpiece! This can be performed using a variety of different tools. The most commonly used is a 45° main Angle milling cutter, but in some cases, a circular blade milling cutter, square shoulder milling cutter, and three side edge milling cutter may be used.

Vertical Milling

In a vertical milling machine, the main axis is vertically oriented. The cutter is fixed in the main shaft and rotates about its axis.Often, the same effect can be achieved by extending the spindle or raising or lowering the table for undercutting and milling. There are two types of vertical milling machines, namely the bed milling machine and the cutter tower milling machine.

Multi-Axis

We are familiar with CNC machine tools have three linear axes XYZ, multi-axis refers to a machine tool with at least the fourth axis.Usually referred to as multi-axis CNC machining refers to more than 4 axis CNC machining, which is representative of the 5-axis CNC machining. The continuous 5-axis CNC milling machines are similar to the indexed setups. They allow the movement of all axis (X,Y,Z, A and B) concurrently during machining. It allows for continuous movement that enhances the accuracy and the cut and allows for parts with complex geometries to be manufactured.

Why Choose Us

CNC milling is the process of machining using rotary cutters to remove material by advancing a cutter into a workpiece. CNC milling is ideal for making angles shapes, slots, holes, curves, flat surfaces, and channels. It is efficient in removing surfaces with high accuracy. First Part CNC milling greatly improves the processing efficiency and can obtain a high surface finish. In addition, it can also process high hardness modules and has the advantages of the low-temperature rise and small thermal deformation.
